“It looks like a bad sketch”: the confidences of Hilaria, Alec Baldwin’s wife, 26 years his junior, on their age difference

Since they launched their reality TV, The Baldwinsin 2025, their family life and their marriage no longer hold any secrets from anyone. And yet, Hilaria Baldwin still seems to have some things to reveal about her love story with Alec Baldwin. Married since 2012, the couple are also parents of seven children. Questioned by theDaily Mail  on the occasion of the magazine launch party Spotlightthe one who is 26 years younger than the American actor told what were the secrets of this marriage which has lasted for 14 years. “We just let each other be, and I think that’s one of the reasons our relationship has lasted so long, because we’re diametrically opposed and so different,” the 42-year-old yoga instructor said. However, she confided that she and her husband, aged 68, regularly had romantic evenings to continue to keep the flame alive. “We’ve been traveling a lot for work lately, but we’re trying to have a lot of date nights,” she said. Garlic (Alec Baldwin, NDLR) loves good dinners: either we go out or I cook, and we generally end up chatting and telling each other about our lives, between our seven children and our projects.”

“We are on an equal footing”

During the interview, Hilaria Baldwin couldn’t help but mention their age difference. “Imagine a 27-year-old yoga instructor married to an older, rich, famous man – it looks ridiculous. Looks like a bad SNL sketch (l’émission “Saturday Night Liveâ€, NDLR)“, she quipped before adding that she and Alec Baldwin teased each other regularly. “I think people expected Alec to want someone he could boss around, but we’re on an equal footing.” The 42-year-old mother, however, recalls that during their relationship they experienced many upheavals. “A lot of wonderful moments, but also some horrible things, and yet we managed to get through it,” she said. For his part, Alec Baldwin explained to Daily Mail that his wife was a “very special person”. “When I met her, she was unknown; she was not famous,” he said. “She was a hard worker and I really admired that. She is immeasurably beautiful, both inside and out.” The actor is full of praise for his wife.
