The theme “True from Falsehood” chosen for the general knowledge and expression test of the BTS 2027 – Interview

The new national theme of general culture and expression of the BTS for the 2027 session will be entitled “Truth from Falsehood”. The information was relayed by several platforms specializing in higher education, after its publication in official documents intended for students and teachers.

This subject will replace the 2026 theme called “Animals and us: imagining, knowing, understanding animals”. The new program will invite students to think about the notions of truth, manipulation, disinformation, belief and even artificial intelligence, in a context marked by the proliferation of fake news and content generated by AI

The written tests for the BTS 2026 will take place from May 18 to 21

The Ministry of Higher Education has also formalized the schedule for the common BTS 2026 tests. For tertiary sectors, the exam will begin on Monday May 18 with the economic, legal and managerial culture test. The general culture and expression test, common to the majority of tertiary and industrial BTS, will take place on Tuesday May 19, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in mainland France.

Industrial BTS students will take mathematics on Monday May 18 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. before the general culture test the next day. The professional written tests will then take place on May 20 and 21 depending on the specialties and pilot academies. BTS results are generally published between the end of June and the beginning of July.
