They are students in the USA, in Taiwan, will rub shoulders with speakers from the universities of Yerevan in Armenia and Kyoto in Japan and will meet with their counterparts from the University of Lorraine (UL) and the Ecole des Mines from this Monday, June 15.

An experimental and interdisciplinary program launched by the director of international relations at Mines Nancy, Tatiana Banderova, this new concept entitled “Summer School†should allow for two weeks to lay the foundations for a new pedagogical approach: in the age of AI, the skills of future engineers are based on the ability to develop systemic visions, a vision integrating science, technology, economics and geopolitical issues.

UL and Mines will rely on the MAT Pulse program, launched in 2024 and bringing together 200 researchers led to imagine more sustainable and efficient technologies, such as nanomaterials, when the invited universities present their own research program.

In the presentation of the program, Tatiania Banderova specified: “With Summer school international, UL and Mines Nancy must increase their visibility and grow their scientific networks.” And remember that research is above all a story of collaboration.
