The event will open with singers from the choral workshop of the Éclats social center. Participants will present to the public a selection of their favorite pieces, the fruit of work carried out throughout the year. A first part which will highlight local talents and the investment of the singers.
At 7:30 p.m., the microphone will pass into the hands of the public with a large karaoke open to all. Experienced singers or simple amateurs will be able to take part in the game in a relaxed and family atmosphere. The opportunity to share some well-known refrains and to involve as many people as possible in this popular festival.
Jusqu’Ã decreases
The third part of the evening will begin at 9 p.m. with several amateur musicians from Villeréal and neighboring towns. For nearly three hours, they will offer a varied repertoire mixing rock, soul, jazz and French or international songs. Guitars, keyboards, drums and voices will follow one another on stage to make the audience dance and sing until midnight.
Beyond the musical program, this evening is above all a moment of meeting and conviviality in the heart of the bastide. Every year, the Fête de la Musique brings together long-time Villeréal residents, newcomers and visitors around a free event accessible to all.
In order to allow the event to run smoothly, Place de la Halle will be closed to traffic and parking from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The municipality hopes to welcome a large audience for this new edition which promises once again to make music resonate under the arcades of the bastide.
