The tension rises another notch in The Power 2026. As the finale approaches, the mystery player chosen by Kaos continues to manipulate the candidates from the room of power. Only Manon knows his identity after being named an accomplice. But a new clue obtained in the May 25 episode completely changes the investigation: the list of suspects suddenly drops from 40 to only 8 portraits. A situation which increases the pressure, especially for Manon, who is already in Jonathan’s sights.
This clue turns the whole investigation upside down
Since the start of this semi-final, the Players have been trying to discover which former candidate or which reality TV celebrity is hiding behind the role of the mystery Power Player. Forty portraits are displayed throughout the villa and each detail can tip the investigation.
And this time, Beverly gets things done. Already qualified for the final after stealing Julien Tanti’s power, she wins the challenge launched by Kaos and obtains a crucial clue for the group. The mystery Power Player would be dressed in white in his portrait.
Immediately, the candidates embark on a huge sorting operation. Portrait after portrait, the suspects are eliminated until only eight remain: Amélie Neten, Afida Turner, Manon Tanti, Carla Moreau, Giuseppa, Laura Lempika, Nikola Lozina and Jean-Pascal.
For Manon, the situation is becoming critical. Until then relatively protected, she now sees the candidates getting dangerously close to the truth.
Jonathan becomes the greatest danger for Manon
If some Players constantly change their theory, Jonathan remains one of the only ones to maintain a consistent line of inquiry since the start of this semi-final.
And the more the days pass, the more he becomes a danger for Manon. Since the appointment of the mystery player’s accomplice, Jonathan has observed each of his behaviors. He remains convinced that she is hiding something and completely refuses to abandon this lead despite the numerous diversions in the villa.
This pressure is starting to worry even the mystery Power Player himself, who wonders if he really made the right choice by designating Manon as an accomplice.
For her part, Manon tries as best she can to keep calm and play like a simple investigator. But as the list of suspects shrinks, the slightest mistake could become fatal.
Enzo and Laura divert attention from the villa
Fortunately for Manon, Kaos also decides to sow a little more chaos in the villa with a completely unexpected mission.
The mystery player then decides to deprive all the candidates of hot water until the end of the adventure, unless Enzo and Laura succeed in a very particular challenge: swapping their personalities for an evening.
This lighter aside causes many moments of laughter in the villa and temporarily diverts attention from the investigation. A false moment of calm which did Manon good, while the pressure was becoming more and more difficult to manage.
But this respite remains very short. Because despite the diversions, the eight suspicious portraits are still displayed in the villa and Jonathan discreetly continues his investigation to unmask the mystery player’s accomplice before the final.
