The municipal council has adopted the initial budget for 2026, maintained tax rates, and approved several appointments as well as grants to local associations and structural projects.

The council set the number of members of the board of the CCAS (Municipal Council for Social Action) at 16. The municipal elected officials who sit on the board are: Nawel Bensetti, Hélène Allios, Claude Jouany, Caroline Blanco Liquière, Nawal Laghzaoui, Brigitte Vergnes, Nathalie Nouvel, Josiane Menou Amiel.

Ten members have been elected to the CAO (Appeals Commission), including five regular members: Henri Médalle, Michel Trouches, Claude Jouany, Nawal Laghzaoui, Michel Cupoli, and five alternates. The “temporary” correspondent designated to ENEDIS is Yoann Juniot Levy, regular, and Henri Médalle, alternate. The representative designated to the funeral home of Albigeois and Autan is Brigitte Vergnes. A list of 32 names has been compiled for the appointment of members to the CCID (Municipal Commission of Direct Taxes). The council has issued a favorable opinion on the disaffiliation project of the Gaillac-Graulhet Agglomeration Community from the Tarn Management Center.

Budgets and taxation: The 2026 initial budget amounts to €7,286,192.60, with €4,526,898.07 for operating expenses and €2,759,294.53 for investments. The tax rates remain unchanged: housing tax 9.74%, property tax on buildings: 45.90%, and on non-building property: 74.75%. The grants allocated to associations are distributed as follows: childhood €187,700, events €20,000, culture €19,550, sports €19,870, totaling €247,120. The council has granted an exceptional grant of €5,240 to the Rural Families association to cover the increase in salary costs.

Energy and property: The photovoltaic production budget is divided as follows: €437,769.26 in operation and €467,158.42 in investment, totaling €904,927.68. The transfer of plot ZD 359 to the EDENIS association, which manages the Ehpad, was adopted by the majority.
