Thursday June 18, from 6:30 p.m., the new 2026-2027 season of the Maison de l’eau will be presented at the Allègre-les-Fumades theater.
“The idea is to stay on the diversity of aesthetics and to continue our collaboration with different cultural actors.” For Didier Cayron, director of the cultural development center, the thirty shows offered as part of the new 2026-2027 season are no exception to the rule.
Irrigating the cultivated territory, the ambitious project of Pierre Brun, former mayor of the commune now led by Geneviève Coste, is still being revealed between the three polar communes of Bessèges, Barjac and Saint-Ambroix. And, even more intimately with municipalities such as Molières-sur-Cèze, Saint-Sauveur-de-Cruzères, Navacelles, Meyrannes and even Rousson. And it is in Molière-sur-Ceze, at the commune stadium, that Alexis HK and his peasant ball will open the new season.
Staying on the diversity of aesthetics
To follow, and without worrying about the completeness of the programming, the OctOpus circus fanfare will offer an escape from the wallCIRCale (November 15), at the Tremplin in Saint-Ambroix or, in a poetic register, Dirk Annegarn (December 12 to 13) and his 50 years of artistic creation.
For Emily Loizeau (January 31), 20 years of career since the release of the album “L’autre bout du monde” will be celebrated during a single on stage, at the Tremplin, in Saint-Ambroix (January 31). Hybrid and exuberant, the Cabaret love at the Théâtre de la Romette, at the Maison de l’eau, sings, shouts then howls the universal feeling of love (February 7).
We return to Bessèges for the show Ze new bamboche by the Jacquard Brothers, a tribute to the popular authors celebrated with their infectious energy by Jean-Michel, Jean-Stéphane and Jean-Corentin (February 26). As an echo, but in another register, the national orchestra of Montpellier, at the Maison de l’eau (March 14), under the direction of Lamar Elias, will perform Leo Delibes, Igor Stravinsky, Villa-Lobos, Salvador Arnita…
Finally, a sparkling theatrical performance, the only one on the musical and theater stage by Philippe Nicaud, winner of best actor in 2024, playing the eleven characters of the tragedy Macbeth written by William Shakespeare in 1623.
