Season 2 of Sophie’s misfortunes revisits the world of the Countess of Ségur in a musical comedy, adapted and directed by Sabine Zovighian, with original music by Michael Liot.
Unpublished songs around the departure for America, a family tragedy and a difficult return, until rediscovered happiness: Sophie continues her learning of the world with the boundless energy which has made her one of the most popular heroines in children’s literature.

Véronique Vella of the Comédie-Française lends her voice to the Countess of Ségur, making heard the intimate and autobiographical part that runs through her work. At her side, we find Ambrine Trigo Ouaked, Marie-Sophie Ferdane, Elsa Guedj, Joy Souque, Julie Julien and even François Pérache.
