Emmanuelle Angelini, assistant for Culture, and Benoît Dissaux, director of Arcachon Culture (the two cities have been long-standing partners), will unveil the program. “It’s very complicated to build a cultural season,” confides the Bouscatoise elected official. It must be eclectic, innovative, surprising, allowing you to dream. And it is at the cost of careful balance that it must be structured around proposals aimed at all ages, from toddlers to seniors, with a culture for everyone: theater, classical and modern dance, music (classical, baroque, jazz), variety, cabaret, humor, circus, magic, exhibitions, conferences, literary meetings, Lettres du monde festival, documentary film month, among others. »
She adds: “A season is made of discoveries, of nuggets. This year, it will be completed by the ambition of a synergy of all the city’s services, with the support of an artist accomplice, to offer cultural routes to all. »
Iconic events
The new season will also give pride of place to proposals from associations, such as that of the Bach Academy with the Musicales du Bouscat, the Music Festival, the Rendez-vous des artistes, the municipal music school or the Cham concert (Classes with flexible times). Of course, it will include its two flagships, marks of the city’s identity: the Creation Fair and the Children’s Book Fair, now labeled by authors and illustrators, a unique reference.
