On June 12 and 13, the Chaillot Experience Mediterranean will meet you to celebrate the arts and artists of the Mediterranean. A France Culture event.
On the occasion of the Chaillot Mediterranean Experience, dance, calligraphy, henna, practical workshops, performances, concerts, tales from the Arabian Nights come together in a festive atmosphere.
With trends that hybridize traditional dances with contemporary aesthetics, coming from the hip-hop scene and more conceptual or experimental languages, Mediterranean dances have experienced a remarkable revival in recent years.
This Chaillot Experience designed with Syhem Belkhodja, an emblematic figure of the Tunisian choreographic and cultural scene, presents part of the young generation of choreographers and dancers from the Maghreb in dialogue with other arts such as music, visual arts and cinema. Conceived as an intercultural event, several proposals will constitute bridges between the two shores of the Mediterranean in a festive and fiery atmosphere.
Le Chaillot Mediterranean Experience, to be experienced on June 12 and 13 at the Chaillot – Théâtre National de la Danse, in Paris.
