In his opening speech at the seminar, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Associate Professor Vu Trong Lam, affirmed that, for more than a century, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has accompanied the nation and has always been a pioneering force in disseminating and publicizing Implements Party directives and state policies and laws, thereby contributing to unity of consciousness and action within the Party, the people and the armed forces.
Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam emphasized that the documents of the 14th National Congress are of utmost importance, reflecting the new developments of the Party’s strategic thinking on the path of national development in the new period; they constitute an important political and ideological basis for consolidating trust and consensus in society and inspiring aspirations for national development.
“In the context of the 14th National Party Congress, which opens new strategic directions for national development, the dissemination of Congress documents is an urgent necessity and a regular political task, aimed at creating unity of consciousness, will and of action throughout society. HAS”
The seminar clarified theoretical and practical issues relating to the role of revolutionary journalism in the dissemination of the documents of the 14th Party Congress; to assess the current state of propaganda work on different media platforms; to identify opportunities and challenges in the context of digital transformation; and to propose solutions to innovate in the content, methods and forms of propaganda, in order to quickly implement the resolutions of the XIVth Congress.
At the conference, the presentations assessed the achievements and frankly pointed out some limitations, such as: the ability to predict and refute false and hostile information and views was sometimes not sharp enough; propaganda methods were sometimes rigid; the application of digital technology was not uniform; there was a lack of personnel specialized in political journalism; and coordination between the press and theoretical research and propaganda agencies was sometimes not very close.
In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Deputy Head of the Central Department of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Tran Thanh Lam affirmed that the workshop carried out its entire program with exemplary scientific spirit, sense of responsibility and dedication.

Fourthly strengthen coordination between the press and publishing, by creating a parallel spearhead for the distribution of the document.
Fifthly strengthen external communication, actively disseminating Vietnam’s development image, vision, direction and achievements to the world.
