Born in 1975, Angelina Jolie, actress and director, is the happy mother of six children. Three adopted, three biological. Their father is the actor Brad Pitt. Maddox Chivan is the eldest of the Jolie-Pitt siblings. He was born on August 5, 2001 in Cambodia. Angelina Jolie fell in love with the toddler – who was still called Rath Vibol – after visiting the orphanage where he lived. The actress officially adopted him on March 10, 2002 while she was still married to Billy Bob Thornton. But their union was already failing and the actor quickly renounced his rights to the child. Pax was born on November 29, 2003 in Vietnam, under the name Pham Quang Sang. In November 2006, the actress went with Brad Pitt and their son Maddox to an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City where she fell for the little boy. And to think that he cried when he saw her for the first time before quickly smiling again. As Angelina and Brad were not married, Pax was initially adopted by the actress alone, on March 15, 2007. The actor legally became her father almost a year later, on February 21, 2008.

Shiloh Nouvel (a nod to the French architect Jean Nouvel of whom Brad Pitt is a fan) was born on May 27, 2006 in Namibia. She is the first biological child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The arrival of this baby was a planetary event: Just a few days old, Shiloh had the right to appear on the cover of the magazine
People. Who paid some 4 million dollars to afford this worldwide exclusivity! A sum donated to a charitable organization. Shiloh is not the only child of the couple to have made the front page of the people’s favorite weekly. Pax was also there when it was adopted in March 2007 – the magazine had paid 2 million dollars for it. But it was the youngest of the siblings who broke records…
Shiloh is passionate about dance, an art which she practices at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles.

Vivienne Marcheline (in homage to Angelina Jolie’s mother) and Knox Leon were born on July 12, 2008 in Nice, France. Cocorico!
