Tinder: astrology and music as “icebreakers”

Tinder is launching a new campaign in France called “ Say Goodbye to Hellos “, designed to support the deployment of its new Astro and Music modes. The dating application thus intends to tackle one of the great classics of online conversations: the first generic messages of the type “ Hello, how about you? ».

Through two spots, the campaign highlights centers of interest and cultural affinities as starting points for conversation. On the one hand, music and shared tastes; on the other, astrology and compatibility between signs. The objective? Offer users more personalized hooks than traditional introductory messages.

Imagined by the Spanish agency The Human Cannonball and produced by Tonko, the campaign will be deployed for four weeks from June 1st. The system is based on a social-first strategy with a presence on the main video, social and audio platforms, including Netflix, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Spotify and Deezer.

The operation also includes content dedicated to social networks, Snapchat filters inspired by the astrological and musical world, as well as a digital display section showcasing the application interface and new features.
