Book. After the success of his first three books, “Namaste Sirji! A teacher in India”, “Les Dettes de Je”, and “Comme il peut”, the writer, who received the Gay novel prize in 2023 in the story category, has just published Read Fiertés des Cévennes.

Gourmet and cultural evening
Feast.From 4:45 p.m., a photo rally, followed at 6 p.m. by the award ceremony around wooden games and a refreshment bar. Photographer Elsa Beaumont will screen her series In community at 7 p.m., before giving way at 9 p.m. to the intimate concert by Jérémie Reivillo, a musical journey inspired by the great outdoors. At 8 p.m., paella or a vegetarian plate followed by tiramisu (€10, reservation strongly recommended).

Fogassa Party
Festival. On the program for these three days of celebration: concerts, strolls, balèti, artistic performances and popular celebrations around the Saint-Jean fire. La Festa Fogassa boasts a festive, collective and warm spirit. The festival begins this Thursday with the now unmissable Footafogassa, a crazy intergenerational football tournament, followed by the Bric-à-brac Black Jack.

The Golden Nights of Jazz
Concert. Oya Quintet, a jazz 5tet which brings together Daniel Moreau, Ézéquiel Célada, Hugo Guezbar, Yoann Godefroy and Valentin Jam around their compositions, and Palinkov’s Donkeys, who mix Eastern European music in a festive and distinctive way, are on the evening’s program.
