While celebrating the anniversary, Vietnam News and Law Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Minh said that since its establishment, Vietnam News has always strived to uphold international journalistic standards, constantly innovating in its content and presentation to improve the quality of information and reporting. meet the increasingly diverse needs of readers around the world. As a result, the newspaper continues to assert its role as an essential information bridge between Vietnam and the rest of the world.
An important step in the unit’s transformation process is the merger on March 1, 2025, of Vietnam News newspaper and Vietnam Law & Legal Forum magazine, giving birth to the Editorial Board of Vietnam News and Law, in line with the policy of streamlining its organizational structure. This new model allows the unit to leverage the strengths of both media outlets, serving as an English-language foreign policy daily while providing in-depth legal content to support the dissemination of information on foreign affairs.

Recognizing the contribution of the newspaper throughout its development, Ms. Vu Viet Trang, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies, Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of the Vietnam News Agency and Deputy Director of the Central Department of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, affirmed that Vietnam News has continued to innovate in its content, expand its distribution platforms and improve its effectiveness with international audiences. Many of his high-quality articles have been recognized with National Journalism Awards, National Foreign News Awards and prestigious international honors.
During the ceremony, Ms. Mariam J. Sherman, Director of World Bank Operations for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, highly praised the role of Vietnam News in disseminating information in English on socio-economic issues in Vietnam, thus contributing to a better understanding of the country’s developments by the international community, development organizations and foreign investors.
On this occasion, Vietnam News and Law newspaper announces a cooperation agreement with LuatVietnam Joint Stock Company, aimed at improving content quality, strengthening the efficiency of multi-platform communication and further promoting the role of foreign affairs journalism in the new era.
At the same ceremony, Vietnam News and Law received a certificate of merit from the Director General of the Vietnam News Agency for its outstanding performance during the period 2021-2025, thus contributing to the development of the Vietnam News Agency; he also received a certificate of merit from the Vietnamese Journalists Association for his positive contribution to overseas information work.
