
Biathlon: success in Belgium on the occasion of International Biathlon Day
This Saturday on the occasion of the second edition of the International Biathlon Day, theThe Belgian federation organized a day of discovery of the discipline this Saturday. A day marked by strong mobilization around the Belgian biathlon and by changing weather conditions.
The rain and storm first forced the organizers to adapt the youth race, with an indoor relay with laser shooting at 10 m. Thierry Langer also participated in this improvised format. The return of the sun allowed the kids’ race to go smoothly, in a 4–500 m format with laser shooting.
Finally, a show race brought together the Olympic team in a trail and laser shooting format. The event concluded with a tight sprint between Thierry Langer et Sam Parmantierindécis même après photo-finish.
The Federation will meet on August 15 and 16, 2026 for the next Belgian biathlon championships.
