The National Federation of Speech Therapists (FNO) is organizing, on June 11, 12 and 13, 2026 at Quartz in Brest, its 30th International Scientific Congress, bringing together speech therapists, researchers and professional partners. This major event, combining face-to-face and remote participation, takes place in a context of strong tensions over access to care and the necessary adaptation of practices to the growing needs of the population.
The conference will highlight clinical innovation, the effectiveness of treatment pathways, taking into account the diversity and environment of each patient and the central role of the speech therapist in the therapeutic pathway. The 500 participants will attend conferences and workshops addressing numerous issues: speech therapy assessment and assessments, family partnerships for prevention and support for language development,
digital innovations and biofeedback devices, rehabilitation of cognitive and oro-myofacial functions, and multi-professional cooperation around early childhood and pediatric eating disorders, among others.
“30 scientific conferences are the sign of a serious profession, firmly anchored in research, which knows how to organize equally serious bodies working in the general interest†underlines Sarah Degiovani, who will open the congress on June 11 at 1 p.m., accompanied by Delphine Alexandre, speech therapist, vice-president of the Brittany region in charge of water and health.
This scientific meeting, a true point of convergence of expertise, aims to strengthen the impact of speech therapists on public health and to advance applied research for the benefit of patients.
