The Langres section of Amnesty International held its general assembly on Tuesday, April 28. Despite a low turnout, Christophe Minoux-Fèvre and Régine Boilletot-Ozaine, the co-secretaries, highlighted the past year’s successes, including a high turnout at events like the Book Fair and significant revenue generated.

Recognizing the need for more volunteers to support their various initiatives, the co-secretaries encouraged attendees to join and contribute to Amnesty International. The focus is on reinvigorating the organization, participating in events like the Book Fair and poetry readings, and potentially restarting film discussions.

New volunteers like Marie-Odile Masson, Gisèle Lhuillier, Marie-Josée Voisin, and Alexia Barmoy have joined forces with the outgoing co-secretaries to ensure Amnesty International’s presence at more events throughout the year. In particular, the 2025 Book Fair was deemed a success, held for the first time in the large room at the Jean-Favre space.

In a photo included, the November Book Fair at Jean-Favre generated a profit of 4,000 euros.
