Russia launched “at least 800 drones” on Ukraine on Wednesday May 13, leaving at least six dead, denounced the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky. These Russian drone strikes also left several people injured, in regions sometimes very far from the front. According to Ukrainian regional authorities, three people were killed in the western Rivne region, two in the southern Kherson region and one in Zaporizhia region, also in southern Ukraine.

“It certainly cannot be called a coincidence that one of the most massive and longest Russian attacks on Ukraine took place precisely at the time when the President of the United States arrived on a visit to China – a visit for which much is expected”denounced the Ukrainian president in a message posted on social networks.

Volodymyr Zelensky once again called on Ukraine’s allied countries to “exert real pressure” on Moscow so that these strikes end. Earlier in the day, he urged Donald Trump, who arrived in China on Wednesday, to discuss ways to put an end to the Russian invasion during his meeting with Xi Jinping.
