According to American press, the Pentagon has established a precise plan of targets to strike to harm Iran.

  • Three strategic islands, Kharg, Qeshm, and Larak, could be targeted by the United States.
  • On LCI, General François Chauvancy details the outline of such a strategy.

The United States is maintaining pressure on Iran. According to Chief of Staff Dan Caine, the American army is ready to resume “large-scale operations”. And according to the press, the Pentagon has established a precise plan of military targets to strike.

Several strategic islands are thus in the crosshairs of the United States. General François Chauvancy, LCI geopolitical consultant, believes that Americans could seek, as part of a “second phase,” to “destroy everything that allows communication and transportation of energy or access to it.” The island of Kharg appears as a crucial target.

“The destruction of the three terminals would prevent all exports of 90% of Iranian oil. The United States has not done this yet, but it is possible,” notes the specialist in the sequence at the top of this article. Two other islands, Qeshm and Larak, could also be potential targets for the American army.

The island of Larak “allows control of the Strait of Hormuz, it would be an opportunity” for Washington, continues General François Chauvancy. With this strategy, the Americans could harm the Iranians.

“Territorial hostage taking would allow pressure on Iran and reduce the capacity for harm since control would be challenged by the American force,” the specialist also states.
