The running section of the Plestin athletics club continues to grow over the years and now has 40 licensed members. Created in 2022 and supervised by coach Étienne Dobo Bi, it offers tailored and supportive guidance for people returning to sports activities as well as those looking to train and improve. “The idea is to have fun in a group while practicing running, regardless of one’s level and age,” recalls Erwan Ropartz, the club’s president. At the same time, since the beginning of the season, the club has also been offering a health sports slot on Thursdays to help those who wish to improve their well-being and health through sports. “During an hour, the idea is to do tailored exercises to improve one’s physical condition. We focus on getting back in shape by adapting to each individual, including nordic walking or running but not just that,” explains Étienne Dobo Bi. These sessions are meant to ease back into sports maintenance at each person’s own pace.
Practical Information – Running session every Wednesday from 6:40 pm to 8:00 pm; health athletics session every Thursday from 6:40 pm to 8:00 pm. Contact: [email protected]
