The team 2, which was hosting JSBA, had its best start to a match in a long time. Despite this, the lack of efficiency in both boxes was heavily penalized. In contrast, the opponent’s remarkable success allowed them to quickly take the lead. Trailing 4-0 at halftime, coach David Caumes decided to change the system and go all out. The beginning of the second half was very good.

By playing higher up the field, the Luco-primaubois put pressure on their opponent. This quickly resulted in a goal in the early minutes. Ten minutes later, on another incursion into their penalty area, the local goalkeeper committed a foul: penalty converted, 4-2.

At this point, the local team was shaken, both mentally and physically. On a corner kick, after a magnificent header was blocked, the ball reached the far post and was headed in for what seemed to be 4-3, unfortunately disallowed for offside.

Playing their all-out attack, the visitors exposed themselves and conceded a fifth goal that definitively sealed the score.

At the final whistle, the coach highlighted the impeccable attitude, mindset, and quality of play offered by the players today. Football is sometimes cruel, and this match is a perfect example. There are still 4 games left to finish the season well, including the reception of Bas Rouergue in 15 days. Team 2 lost 5-2 against JS Bassin Aveyron, and Team 3 drew 0-0 against Stade Villefranchois.

Congratulations to Ruben Vigroux, a U13 player and a pure product of the Luco-primaubois training program, who has been selected to take the entrance exam for the Pôle Espoir de Castelmaurou on April 21st and 22nd, 2026. A great reward for his hard work, dedication, and daily commitment. Congratulations also to Mathis Lefrançois and Enzo Morillas, who have been selected to participate in the territorial U13 stage with the Aveyron District!
