The Blagnac choir Les Canards Sauvages invites the public to its end of season show, Sunday June 28 at 4 p.m., at the Ramiers village hall. For this new edition, the numerous choristers of the ensemble have chosen the theme of cinema to guide a musical journey mixing emotions, memories and good humor.
Under the direction of their choir director Mariande Mangin, the singers will perform a varied repertoire drawn from French song, including titles by France Gall, Jean-Jacques Goldman and several artists from the younger generation. Like every year, the concert is designed as a real show where the songs follow one another around a common thread.
Les Canards Sauvages will also welcome the Choirs of the Chalets of Toulouse. Directed by Rita Ibrahim, the guest choir will notably offer works by Clara Luciani and Michel Legrand, as well as several other pieces from its repertoire.
The Blagnac choir brings together singing enthusiasts from all walks of life. Divided into four desks, the choristers meet every week to work on a repertoire essentially devoted to French variety and songs from around the world. Throughout the year, they participate in local cultural life through concerts, musical meetings and solidarity actions.
Entrance to the show is free. Participation in the hat will be offered to the public in order to support the activities of the two vocal ensembles.
