Since its creation, the Echos-ci, échos-là association has strived to cross artistic disciplines and offer a rich and diversified cultural program. Theater, music, storytelling, plastic arts, painting and even photography: forms and practices meet and interact throughout the year.

This is still the case now. Already, since the start of the year, several events have come to enhance the past weeks and months. The first cultural event in 2026 was the itinerant artistic journey inspired by the work “On the Path of Ice” in the footsteps of Werner Herzog and the screening of the film “Les Ascensions” in the presence of Bruno Geslin, Clément Bertani and Guilhem Logerot. In February, the association offered a series of workshops “senior cinema”, video courses with a view to making short films which will be presented at the next edition of the documentary film festival “Échos d’ici, Échos d’ailleurs, in the footsteps of Christophe de Ponfilly”. celebrated the festival of short films with a morning dedicated to the magic of the short format. At the same time, throughout the spring, the 10th edition of the imaginary journey around the documentary film between Tarn and Hérault “From one valley to the other” was held. offered six evenings of screenings in partnership with the Au fil des Arts association in Prémian (Hérault). Six evenings, six films screened followed by a meeting and a moment of discussion with the directors or a chosen personality, always very rich and warm.

The members of the association are preparing the 19th edition of the documentary film festival which will take place from October 9 to 11 on the theme “Liberty, equality, fraternity… Charged!: Big discount on prices! Freedom at a bargain price, great equality surface, Frater. Invoiced VAT. Click, scroll, like, Everything must disappear! to dive into surprising, funny, moving, sometimes overwhelming stories: collective initiatives, emerging solidarity, ways of doing things differently… Stories that look at the world freely, and are inscribed in the spirit of Christophe de Ponfilly.” A whole program which suggests the best for this new edition.

Throughout the year, with Echos-ci, échos-lâ, the public discovers various forms of show, offering intimate, accessible and local experiences, culminating in the festival. This artistic diversity is part of the DNA of the association which offers varied cultural content, promotes encounters between the arts and offers the public a unique, sensitive and lively experience.
