Accustomed to premieres and festivals, Philippe Katerine and Julie Depardieu generally appear alone during their public appearances. This weekend, however, the couple made an exception by taking their two sons, Billy and Alfred, with them to the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Present for the film premiere The Last Days of Charles Baudelairedirected by Arielle Dombasle and in which Philippe Katerine participates, the two teenagers discovered the very media exercise of the red carpet, in this case purple on the Rock.
The eldest, Billy, who will soon celebrate his 15th birthday, attracted all the attention. Confident smile, tousled hair and confident look: the young man already seemed perfectly familiar with the photographers, visibly having fun doing a series of poses alongside his mother. His younger brother Alfred, aged 14, was a bit more reserved.

As usual, Philippe Katerine brought his touch of originality to the event. Between grimaces, jokes with photographers and demonstrations of affection towards Julie Depardieu, the 57-year-old artist livened up the red carpet. In particular, he did not hesitate to carry his partner in his arms, triggering smiles from spectators and guests.

In this family where music and cinema occupy a central place, Billy already seems to be following the path traced by his parents. The teenager took his first steps in front of the camera at a very young age. In 2023, he appeared in the film’s credits The Secrets of the Princess of Cadignan under the name Billy Depardieu-Blanchard. Well before that, he was already participating in several of his father’s projects, notably in the music videos Perfect moment, Snowmen et Blond. Although the future will tell whether he will definitively choose the artistic path, this first public appearance in Monte-Carlo already suggests a certain ease with the objectives.
