Every day its pain for Patrick Bruel. While the singer is already under fire from accusations of rape and sexual assault, new testimony has been added to the equation. A former Star Academy professor, who prefers to remain anonymous, recently decided to speak out. And her words are without detour or ambiguity: “People who say they are amazed are liars,” she confided point blank according to France Info. For this former Star Academy professor, whose identity is unknown, things have been clear in the industry for a long time. “The whole profession has always been aware that it has a problem with women,” she said. A reality that she herself was able to observe, having already had the opportunity to meet the artist on several occasions throughout her career. “The goal of the game was to never find yourself in an elevator with him,” she added.

Many voices are raised against Patrick Bruel

This former Star Academy professor is far from being the only one to have taken a stand against Patrick Bruel. On Instagram, several personalities notably gave their support to the actress Andréa Bescond in one of her publications. Among them, the actresses Alexandra Lamy and Chloé Jouannet, as well as the former Miss France Valérie Bègue. A few weeks later, it was the singer Lio who spoke on the subject, invited on the set of C à vous on France 5.And here again, the words are without embellishment. “We’ve known it for years,” she said, before adding without mincing her words: “let him go and get treatment.” Zazie, for her part, spoke on the airwaves of Europe 1. “The great seducer, the flirt, it’s not a scoop. But obviously, given my character, you can imagine that if I had seen a third of a quarter of what is described by these women, I would talk to you about it, because it doesn’t wouldn’t happen,” she said.

What does the singer respond to the accusations?

Presumed innocent until proven guilty, Patrick Bruel does not see it that way and refutes outright all the accusations brought against him since the start of the case. On his social networks, the singer also made a point of speaking out personally to make things clear: “I have never forced a woman”, he insisted, adding that he had never “drugged, manipulated or sought to subjugate anyone.” Because Patrick Bruel assures him, he intends to fight until the end. “I will defend myself, for my family, for my friends, for my audience with whom I have a loyal and unwavering bond,” he promised, vowing to continue doing his job “with the same dedication and the same passion.” Strong words, therefore, but which did not prevent the singer from immediately canceling several planned festivals and concerts. A decision which, whatever he says, testifies to the considerable pressure which now weighs on his shoulders.
