Matmatah today is not the same group as at the beginning. Who are you?

“That’s a very good question ( laughter ). We have a “running gag” with this question. We tell ourselves that we know where we are going when we know who we are. We remember those who were there from the start, our teenage hopes of starting a rock band. We are a collective of humans who still have lots of things to tell.”

How do we keep the soul of the beginning by changing the musicians?

“We don’t really know anything about it ( new laughs ). There is a unity of love of music and love of discovering things. Music is something completely crazy. It’s just a few notes and with that, we manage to make thousands of songs that touch people. There is a mystical side. Even if the members change, there is a common cauldron of all our ideas. »
