“Musique à Albas” is on the go for its two major musical evenings on June 5 and 6, 2026 in the church d’Albasin the vallée du Lot. Jazz in Albas with the Cédric Chauveau Trio
Friday, the Cédric Chauveau trio will be present to deliver jazz accessible to all, to known standards and which are likely to satisfy ancients and moderns alike. Experienced, these musicians perform as much solo as when they play in a big band.
References to Hank Jones, Oscar Peterson, etc., the pianist knows how to transport himself in a most vibrant swing, thus bringing his acolytes into an unusual musical atmosphere.
Diana Cooper pours a piano recital
On Saturday June 6, a single artist on stage, facing her instrument which she particularly masters. Diana Cooper, known to many music lovers, will therefore be in concert in the church. Her talent is measured by the other artists with whom she joins to accompany them.
Gauthier Capuçon for example, the show “Fauteuil d’école” etc., are all characters or participations which reveal a high-level pianist. Bach is part of his repertoire.
