Between 2022 and 2025, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky saw their family grow. The star couple became parents of three children. Two boys: Rza Athelston Mayers, born May 13, 2022, and Riot Rose Mayers, born August 1, 2023. And a little girl named Rocki Irish Mayers, born September 13, 2025. An upheaval in their lives which the rapper spoke about during an interview for Vibe Magazine.
Rester humble
“Our second child is very intelligent. He reminds me so much of his mother. Our eldest reminds me of myself, a real introvert. My daughter, she puts on a show.” Three very different personalities but a similar upbringing. Rihanna’s companion explains: “I want to make sure that my children are disciplined, that they remain humble and that they keep their feet on the ground.” He continues: “Because they might be considered spoiled brats so I want to make sure they spend time with their cousins - the rough cousins - that’s going to keep them grounded in reality.”
A trauma still present
This interview also provides the opportunity for the rapper to return to the incident that occurred on March 8, 2026. A woman then entered their property and fired several shots: “Someone tried to attack me and my family. It deprived me of a lot of peace and happiness, of this simple freedom. I don’t want my peace and joy stolen.”
