Taylor Swift has written a song, which will be revealed on Friday, for the film’s music Toy Story 5she announced on her social networks Monday.
“You knew it! My new original song I Knew It, I Knew Youcomposed for the Disney and Pixar film Toy Story 5will be yours on June 5″, she wrote, specifying that she “loves” the characters of the saga since the first episode, released in 1995.
Fans of the artist have been speculating for several weeks about his presence on the film’s soundtrack, after the appearance on his website of a countdown on a background reminiscent of the wallpaper in the room of Andy, the hero of the original film.
The initials “TS”
At the end of last week, advertising posters featuring this motif bearing the initials “TS” (shared by the singer and the title of the films) also appeared.
Toy Story 5 will be released in theaters worldwide from June 17. It features Woody the cowboy, Buzz Lightyear and their band of toys fighting for survival in the face of competition from technology, notably a tablet.
Taylor Swift, 36, is engaged to American football player Travis Kelce, also 36.
According to celebrity media, their wedding should take place on July 3 in New York.
