Crave marks a new success with its latest Quebec adaptation, that of Fear Factor Celebrities, which viewers will be able to happily discover from the beginning of June. These are 21 courageous artists who said yes to these somewhat crazy challenges, in the company of their loved ones, in the name of entertainment and surpassing oneself. And you will see that it is not nothing!
In the first episode, which features challenges where the fear of heights and insects is on the agenda, you will see in action Mariana Mazza and her mother Sonia, 66 years old, Catherine Peach Paquin and Olivier Primeau, both accompanied by their father. If Catherine will amaze you with her agility and ease, it is especially Mariana Mazza and her sparkling mother who will make you experience the most emotions.
The first challenge at height, while the participants are hanging from a cube made of rope, already seems laborious, but you will quickly notice that the episodes are built in a crescendo and that the further you advance in the adventure, the more complicated the tests are. Some will face them with courage, some with fear, while others are simply gripped by terror. THE medic will be called for reinforcement regularly.
It is in this context that Mariana Mazza will exceed her own limits in two events which will place her in a state of extreme excitement. And this is also where the most beautiful thing happens Fear Factor Célébrités. The participants will show courage by seeking strength in their duets. The complicity that unites Mariana Mazza and her mother, two honest, funny and authentic women, is so beautiful to see! So much so that you might shed a few tears watching them support each other like never before. Same thing for the other duos.
This is also what host Patrick Huard does, watching the performances of his guests. True to himself, Patrick is both funny and sensitive, regularly shedding tears when the complicity is too good or the emotion is too strong. The host also tells us that he found it very difficult to see his partner Anik Jean face the ordeals.
We couldn’t find a better artist than him to animate this adaptation. The final result is therefore captivating, entertaining and completely addictive, in addition to having nothing to envy of the version of our neighbors to the South. It’s also a proposition that can very well be viewed with the family, a great asset in these times. We are sure that this novelty will have a good life in Quebec and we are already looking forward to watching the next episodes.
The first two episodes will drop on Crave on June 5, followed by two episodes per week thereafter.
