After an encouraging first edition, the event pursues its ambition: to offer an accessible, festive and engaged event, combining screenings, meetings, music, walks and live shows.
Conceived as a festival anchored in the rural territory of the Elle valley, ELLE’Fest highlights films directed by women, while creating bridges with local initiatives.
Each screening will be accompanied by speakers, associations or collectives coming to discuss with the public around the themes covered. A way, for the organizers, “to open spaces for discussion, while promoting local actors.”
Cinema and stroll
Friday evening, the public will find a classic with “La Crise” by Coline Serreau, preceded by a surprise concocted with the Saint-Amand festival makes its interesting.
Saturday, time for an eclectic program with a botanical walk in the village, the screening of the documentary “Middle Earth” in the presence of director Juliette Guignard, then “The Ride” with Stéphanie Gillard and the Terres Equi’Solidaires association.
Culture et nature
This village festival skillfully balances culture and nature. Thus, the Saturday lunchtime meal will be made from ingredients harvested locally, thanks to the contributions of botanist Marie-Anne Barny. The evening will be festive with the “Ciné-vibrations pluri’ELLES”, imagined by Vizara, which will combine screenings, 100% female open mix, food truck and DJ set provided by Josy Fullvibes.
