This is what we call a big spring cleaning. While filming the 10th season of Selling Sunsetthe decadent reality TV which since 2019 has been telling the adventures of a team of real estate agents within the brokerage firm Oppenheim Group, in Los Angeles, is about to begin these days, we learn with amazement that most of its long-time stars have been licensed.

As confirmed by Daily Mail This Wednesday, Emma Hernan, Mary Bonnet, Chelsea Lazkani, Alanna Gold and Sandra Vergara – Sofia Vergara’s sister – were all fired from the show and will not be returning for new episodes of one of Netflix’s most popular reality TV franchises.

According to sources, these eminent figures of the series for several seasons were thanked last April. None of them has yet spoken out about this brutal eviction.

A mysterious interview

No fault of one of the main participants, Mary Bonnet, present in the series since its beginnings, for having spoken a few days ago with the Daily Mail about the series. The real estate agent said nothing, except for a few cryptic remarks about “changes.”

The dismissal of Mary Bonnet is all the more surprising given that she has been part of the original cast since the show’s debut in 2019.Image: netflix

“The producers know. I don’t know anything about it. I don’t have my say on anything – well, yes, maybe a little, but I don’t know,” slipped the star of Selling Sunset.

“Netflix wanted change, and there’s going to be a lot of it. I don’t think anyone really knows what the consequences will be.”

“I just can’t say more,” she finally said with a mysterious smile. Before perhaps inadvertently implying that she had been fired, because the agent clarified that she was “not entirely sure” of the start date of filming for season 10.

A little consolation

That said, fans of Selling Sunset console each other! Other familiar faces will reappear in this tenth season, including those of Bre Tiesi, Amanza Smith and Heather Rae El Moussa. Without forgetting the unforgettable Christine Quinn, who reigned in the first five seasons like a Hollywood Cruella.

The merciless blonde Selling Sunset established herself as the revelation of the show, the “bad guy” that fans couldn’t help but find captivating. She left the show in an acrimonious climate in 2022, amid intense conflict with her colleagues, including Mary Bonnet, Emma Hernan, Heather El Moussa and Chrishell Stause – another iconic character, who disappeared in November 2025, after nine seasons.

Christine’s return is all the more surprising given that a source said last month to Daily Mail that she “did not wish to return to Selling Sunset» and had “not contacted” the producers of the show. However, the insider insisted they were determined to bring her back, as the blonde is the one who brings the “more drama.”

“That’s what they need right now for this new season: more drama.”

An initiate, they have Daily Mail

The person, who has since confirmed her return on her Instagram account, declared during Netflix’s Tudum event how she approached this new phase: “It’s not a return, it’s a reintroduction.”

“I’m still ambitious and direct, but I think people will see a more composed and even more confident version of me,” she added. “I’m not coming back to play an old version of myself. I come back to show where I am today and allow the public to see that progression can always be accompanied by a certain audacity.

That promises. We will discover all this in a few months, when this tenth season of Selling Sunset is released on the small screen. (mbr)
