At her table, guests are proud of her: Arnaud, her brother and artistic director, and her sister-in-law Yahima, who has become her manager. At the first notes of Everything has changed (Nothing has changed)Helena gets up, zig-zags elegantly between the flowered tables set up for the occasion, and joins the stage.
“I come as I am, without makeup or artifice,” intones the star of the evening, in this gala room at the Martinez. An event may well be organized in her honor during the Cannes Film Festival, in one of the most chic and legendary hotels on the Croisette, the 24-year-old Belgian appears with the same freshness as when she presented herself to the spectators of the Star Academy in 2022. This same naturalness which touches her audience, with whom she spontaneously exchanges between two hits with committed lyrics.

She’s become a performer, a great one,” enthuses the Star Ac dance teacher.
“In complete privacy with Hélé”
Since it is a “Grand dinner, in complete intimacy with Hélé”, according to the title of the event which was announced as “chic and friendly” at the same time, who would Héléna Bailly dream of inviting to her table, for a warm meal? “In my wildest dreams, I would like to share a dinner with the singer Adèle, to be able to discuss music, with the actor François Damiens [Belge, comme elle, ndlr] for a laugh, and with my parents… because I love them”, the former speech therapy student, now a multi-award winning artist, responds spontaneously, from the NRJ Music Awards to the Victoires de la Musique.
She laughs as she tells us that she took “twelve pairs of shoes, from the skincaremake-up, pretty outfits, and balls for crocheting”. Twelve pairs, two feet, who trod the legendary steps for the screening behind closed doors Karma de Guillaume Canet, porté par Marion Cotillard et présenté hors-Compétition.Â
Helena sings sincerelynothing has changed but knows well that tout a changé. And this new life made up of full rooms and invitations to the Croisette, Helena savors it to the fullest. A sunny smile on his lips, wonder in the hollow of his eyes.
