The Clermont Musical Meetingsthe unmissable event for classical music in the Oise, remains a well-established machine. It is an exceptional platter which will again be served to fans of this musical genre on the occasion of the 12e édition of this festival, whose headliners have been revealed. “Renowned performers”, but also “promising talents”, were present to make classical music resonate within the grounds of the Saint-Samson church in Clermont, September 20 to October 11, 2026.
Six concerts grand public à l’église Saint-Samson
The ticket office will open on June 19, 2026 (on the internet but also at the restaurant l’Atelier gourmand, rue de la République in Clermont), in less than a month.Â
Bringing classical music to as many people as possible remains the keystone of the festival, whose six concerts grand public will be held at Saint-Samson Church. This 13th century building, in the heart of a parish spanning 25 bell towers, is also in the news this year due to emergency work, before a vast renovation spread over around ten years. The profits from our refreshments will be donated to the Heritage Foundation to finance the work,” says Cécile Grange, cultural assistant for the City of Clermont and president of the festival, which she coordinates alongside Claire de Varine, its artistic director.
Gaëlle Solal and Élodie Bouny, the two most prominent guitarists of the moment
There will be baroque, classical (Mozart, Schubert, etc.). As always, we will also offer a piano recital, a piano and strings quintet (the Dutilleux / Guillaume Bellom quartet), a baroque ensemble, with a countertenor (Ensemble “Les Epopées”, Editor’s note)… Which is also a great first for the Musicales!
Among the highlights of these two months devoted to great music, a duo of virtuoso guitarists formed by Gaëlle Solal and Elodie Bouny. They are also the ones who will provide master classes in music schools. “They are the two best guitarists in France currently,” said Cécile Grange.
Here is the program for the six general public concerts at Saint-Samson Church
1. Quintette chords and piano : Quatuor Dutilleux & G Bellom, Dimanche 20 septembre 2026 Ã 17h.
2. Piano recital: Tanguy de Williencourt, Saturday September 26, 2026 at 8:30 p.m.
3. Wind ensemble: “Ouranos, Sunday September 27, 2026 at 5 p.m.
4. Guitar duo: Gaëlle Solal and Elodie Bouny, Saturday October 3, 2026 at 8:30 p.m.
5. Ensemble “Les Epopées” & P Figuier, countertenor, Sunday October 4, 2026 at 5 p.m.

For the first time, a concert organized in prison
Another major new feature this year: an off-site concert at the Liancourt prison center. After medico-social establishments such as the Cesap de Clermont and the CHI de Fitz-James, and the actions carried out with local schools (including musical workshops planned this year in the schools of Étouy), the festival will take a new step by intervening in the prison.
A grand piano will enter the Liancourt prison center on October 5 for a concert with Katherine Forestier (piano), Françoise Rusher (violin) and Clémentine Bourgoin (mezzo-soprano). The ambition will remain the same: to introduce the diversity of classical music to all audiences.
