“Lying in a club, you know people are coming for you. In a festival, it’s a little different: people don’t necessarily know you.”
Accustomed to the stage and festivals, Veronica Fusaro has been playing with a fixed group of musicians since 2024. “I’m very happy with my group: it’s difficult to find people who have time, who are good musicians and who are super nice.”
Rehearsals, interviews, meals, vocal preparation, moment of concentration before going on stage, everything comes together for the Swiss representative at Eurovision 2026. Moreover, it is impossible not to address this theme, as spectators constantly remind her of their disappointment regarding her non-qualification for the final of the competition.
“I would have really liked to be in the final, but Eurovision is a competition, and you also need luck.”

Veronica Fusaro is not disappointed however, her participation in the competition attracted many new fans and her song Alice has been viewed more than a million times on YouTube.
Stefan Schurter, his manager for ten years, confirms the impact of the biggest song competition in the world on his career: “Thanks to the visibility of Eurovision, we finalized a contract with a Canadian record company of international scope.”
