The media specifies that the total damage is in the hundreds of thousands of pounds sterling, mainly including designer jewelry, luxury handbags and collector’s watches.

Police said the gang typically spent only one night in each city, paid for their accommodations in cash and used rental vehicles to limit their traceability. This time, these precautions were not enough. The investigators managed to follow the trail of the criminals thanks to a stolen iPad.
