After welcoming nearly 5,000 people for its 2nd edition, the Autheuil-Authouillet Environment Festival returns and changes its name. In 2026, the event takes the name of the association which organizes it and becomes the Festival Listen to your planet. the expected event will be held Saturday 16 May 2026 in the orchard of the village park located between Gaillon and Évreux (Your).

“The philosophy remains the same: we want to talk about ecology in a way that is accessible to all, without any hassle, by proposing solutions and in a festive setting,†sums up Matthew Caillaudpresident of the association and creator of the festival in 2022. This year again, there will be activities around the environment during the day, and concerts to party in the evening. “Access remains free to get out of the crowd,” recalls Mathieu Caillaud.

Pour Delphine Diasnew mayor of Autheuil-Authouillet, “it’s important to support the project of a young person from the village who brings a unifying event” in the same way as the fair for everything or the book fair. In fact, many residents of the town take part in the organization of the festival: “It’s a subject that concerns us all”, underlines the chosen one. “We have around a hundred volunteers and this allows us to involve the entire Eure valley,” continues Mathieu Caillaud, who thanks the municipality for its logistical and administrative support in organizing the event.

Workshops, conferences and games

More than fifty local environmental stakeholders (associations, professionals, enthusiasts…) will come to share their knowledge and know-how at the Verger du parc. Everyone will host workshops, conferences or games for children.

The program of conferences and events

Throughout the day, conferences, outings, activities for young and old, and workshops are planned, here is the program:
– 11:30 a.m.: presentation of the Eure Butterfly Guide, presented by Swann & Laurent
– 2 p.m.: presentation of the Atlas of odonates (dragonflies) project in Normandy by Antoine & Wilfried
– 4 p.m.: The Black Stork – Ecology and cohabitation with renewable energies by Bertrand Delprat.
Nature outings of 30 to 45 minutes are planned throughout the day, with several departures for each theme. The schedules are dependent on the weather, since the animals adapt to changes during the day.
– Botanical outings: discovery of local flora
– Ornithological outing: discovery of the birds of the valley
– Entomological outing: discovery of insects (dragonflies and butterflies)
– Beekeeping outing: discovery of how hives work and the beekeeper’s profession
– Outing on small mammals: discovery of nocturnal birds of prey rejection pellets
An independent treasure hunt, entitled Guardians of Nature, is organized by Listen to your planet, for children but also adults. Wooden games will be available to visitors.
Several artists will exhibit their work (naturalist drawing, animal drawing, naturalist photographs, etc.) in a dedicated space. The nature trail, with four podcasts (one per season) on each of the ten points of the hike, will be inaugurated. The 27,000 Paws will take groups to discover the trail and the podcasts. Introductions to basketry and low-tech demonstrations will be led by a volunteer: nettle bracelets, solar oven, creation of wild wicker baskets…

It will, for example, be possible to go on outings with professional naturalists to discover birds, insects or even botany. To then sit down for a moment to learn wild basketry and leave with your clematis or bramble basket. To listen to a reptile specialist deconstruct preconceived ideas about his favorite animals. To produce natural cleaning products for a healthy home. Or try your hand at naturalistic drawing with a watercolorist.

To set up this program, the association brought together a budget d’environ 40 000 euros.

“We are 84% financed by private actors. It shows that people care about the subject.”

Mathieu Caillaud.

An increasing budget which notably makes it possible to have, for the first time in the history of the festival, two stages. “We also had authorization for a capacity of 2,500 people at the same time on the site,” he adds. The organizers hope to set a new record for the day.

Bardix the Gaul and Mad Seahorse

From 5 p.m., it’s time for music and artists! Five groups will perform on both stages. There will be no downtime thanks to the thirty percussionists of the Vernon batucada, Malukeiros.

On the program: rap with Hippocampe fou, techno on Celtic melodies with Bardix le Gaulois or covers of Téléphone with Octopus. The evening will end with a DJ. Enough to make everyone dance.

Refreshment bar and local catering

For eating throughout the day, there will be many options, including varied vegetarian solutions. Salads will be prepared on site using Légume à la clef products. The “local canteen” will bring together different local producers, and several food trucks will complete the catering offering.

The refreshment bar, run by volunteers, will offer local drinks: beers from the Eure valley and local juices.

Listen to your planet festival, Saturday May 16, in Autheuil-Authouillet, at the Parc orchard, from 10 a.m. to midnight. Free entry.
