An emblematic figure of French television, Nikos Aliagas is known for hosting cult shows Star Academy or even The Voice on TF1. But behind this celebrity lies a stable and deeply rooted family life around his partner, Tina Grigoriou, mother of their two children, Agathe (née in 2012) and Andreas (née in 2016).
The couple met in the early 2010s. The host himself recounted their first meeting:
“We recognized each other from the first handshake… and the first sentence out of my mouth was: ‘Why don’t you have children?'”.
Tina Grigoriou, the psychologist wife of Nikos Aliagas
Unlike Nikos Aliagas, whose daily life is punctuated by TV shows and media events, Tina Grigoriou has built a professional career in the field of psychology, far from the spotlight. Diploma in Psychology, she has completed rigorous training in the United Kingdom and is recognized for her clinical expertise: she specializes in particular in anxiety disorders, depression, panic attacks as well as eating and sexual disorders.
Based in London for a large part of her career, Tina Grigoriou opened her own cabinet in an upscale neighborhood. She also worked in the NHS, the British public health service, before devoting herself to private practice. On her professional website and through her training, she promotes alternative approaches such as dance and movement therapy, as well as transformative retreats focused on well-being and freedom of movement.
“She fixed me” : Nikos Aliagas confides in his relationship with Tina Grigoriou
Even if Tina Grigoriou sometimes accompanies Nikos Aliagas on the red carpets – like during the Elie Saab show at Paris Fashion Week in 2025 –
she remains very discreet and far from the media world. “She does me good, she repaired me, in my fears, in my doubts. She’s a strong woman, she’s a brilliant woman, and I think she’s at a good distance from all that, and I need that. We don’t see her often, she doesn’t like to show herself, she’s right”, explained the star host on TMC.
Si la jolie famille réside à Paris, she can recharge her batteries in Fontenay-sous-Bois in Val-de-Marne, in a family home where Nikos Aliagas’ mother lives. His father, Andréas, died on May 9, 2017.
