“I feel blessed”: the rare confidences of Javier Bardem on his story with Penélope Cruz

Married since 2010, Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz cultivate a rare discretion in the Hollywood world. In an interview given to Varietythe Spanish actor spoke with emotion about the one who has shared his life for more than fifteen years.

A few days before his climb to the Cannes Film Festival, Javier Bardem gave an interview to the American magazineVariety  in which he talks about both his career and his private life. On display at L’Être Aiméby Rodrigo Sorogoyen, which will be presented in official competition in Cannes on Saturday May 16, the Spanish actor especially surprised by the tenderness of his declarations towards his wife, Penélope Cruz. “I feel so blessed to have the chance to live at the same time, in the same place as this woman,” he confides in this interview.

The story between the two Spanish stars dates back to 1992, during the filming of Ham, ham. At the time, both actors were still at the start of their careers.
