For its third edition, the Bigoudène Odyssey is once again settling in Plobannalec-Lesconil, as the town had committed to, for a festive day under the sign of sustainable development and the change in our habits. It is the port of Lesconil which will host the celebrations from 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. The inauguration will take place at 11:30 a.m.
Organized by the Nautique en Pays Bigouden association, in partnership with the CCPBS, the municipality and the Lesconil Nautical and Outdoor Center, the event will welcome residents and visitors for a moment of sharing and discovery. Oriented towards nautical activities, local know-how and initiatives undertaken to preserve the coastline, it will combine the spirit of celebration, citizenship and local belonging.
Music and cinema
Organized in three villages (institutional, children and creators) and a producers’ market, the Odyssey will offer numerous activities for everyone, on the water and on land: introductions (sailing boat, mizzen boat, barbinasse, dugout canoe, paddle, catamaran, kayak), introduction to coastal rescue, water walking, swimming, mountain biking, bike course and balance bike, educational foot fishing… Musical entertainment will punctuate the day (Ténor de Brest, Fanfoire du Rosa Bonheur, Loire Valley Calypso and DJ Marco). The public will be able to eat at the stands and food trucks present (Billigouden, Marinoë, Blaz Lab, M’ile Saveurs, Jakez and Hopala). The organization happily welcomes volunteers wishing to get involved in the event.
Beforehand, the cinema will be there with the screening of “Autour de la Bretagne”, Lost in the Swell, at the Cinéville de Pont-l’Abbé on Wednesday 13 at 8:30 p.m., with a debate. Thursday 14 at 2:30 p.m. at ESB La Torche, in partnership with Surfrider, a waste collection operation will be organized.
