The Tradethik festival is back in Albi and its surroundings until May 3rd. To close this edition, the Trio Loubelya will perform on May 3rd at the Maison de la Musique de Cap’découverte in Garric, in a festive atmosphere blending traditions and modernity.
The Maison de la Musique de Cap’découverte in Garric is preparing to welcome the Trio Loubelya on May 3rd, marking the end of the Tradethik 2026 festival. This anticipated event is for fans of reimagined traditional music.
The festival highlights traditional music and dance every year. It focuses on cultural transmission, featuring regional languages like Occitan or Auvergnat Languedocian and iconic instruments like the diatonic accordion.
Until May 3rd, the festival offers a festive and convivial experience to the public at Pratgraussals in Albi. Tradethik showcases diversity by combining traditional, pop, rock, and world music influences.
A Festive Stage
On stage, the Trio Loubelya embodies this spirit. Made up of Marie Constant on diatonic accordion, Rolland Martinez on double bass and clarinet, and Florent Lalet on saxophone, the group offers a unique musicality between jazz and traditional music.
The three musicians will continue their tour on May 8th in Italy. The event has already generated enthusiasm at the Maison de la Musique. “We hope this festival will have a real impact on the territory, where traditional music resonates,” the team said. To attract the public, grassroots actions are also planned, including the distribution of flyers at the Carmaux market. “People love to dance, it’s a festive festival above all,” emphasized the organizers.
