Trending drier but warmer along the Gulf Coast Saturday
FORT MYERS, Fla. —
After a refreshing Saturday morning start, temperatures are expected to climb this afternoon into the upper 80s and low 90s. That’s close to average for this time of year. Your Gulf Coast Weather Most Accurate Forecast is calling for more sunshine and less rain Saturday afternoon.

Sunday will be hotter and more humid, and feels-like temperatures will reach the triple-digit mark in the afternoon. Rain chances increase Sunday, too.
We are keeping an eye on our next weather maker late next week as it could bring more widespread rain chances. The forecast is tricky, as little tweaks could greatly impact how much rain we see. Currently, models are split as to how much rain we do see, but as of right now, expect coverage to increase starting Wednesday.
The Atlantic Basin remains quiet. No tropical activity is expected over the next seven days.
