Coastal rain, drier Friday and Saturday
FORT MYERS, Fla. —
Drier air is filtering into the Gulf Coast in the wake of this week’s cold front. Rain chances and humidity will drop a little, just in time for the start of the weekend.
Your Gulf Coast Weather Most Accurate Forecast calls for a 30% chance of rain Friday with a high of 89 degrees. With lower humidity in place, the feels-like temperature should stay in the low 90s instead of the triple digits, too. More sunshine is expected as well.
Saturday looks even drier, as rain chances drop to only 20% coverage. It will trend hotter, though, with highs in the low 90s.
By next week, rain chances will bump back up across the Gulf Coast.
No tropical activity is expected over the next several days.
