DAYTON, Ohio — A member of the NFL is returning to his hometown this month to bring the community together to celebrate fun and football.Â

Andrew Ogletree, known as “Drew,” will host a Community Fun Day & Football Drill Session on Saturday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Northridge High School, 2251 Timber Lane, Dayton, Ohio.
“The free event is designed to give local youth and families a memorable day of games, music, fun and community connection,” organizers said in a news release.
Ogletree earned First Team All-Ohio honors in football and basketball while a student at Northridge before earning a scholarship to University of Findlay, where he got a degree in criminal justice.
He was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.Â
Ogletree is partnering with several organizations and foundations including Harrison Township, Just a Pair of Shoes, Bryttan’s Battalion Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Cruise-In, Foundation for a Drug-Free World, Northridge Alumni Veterans Memorial, Polar Express STEM and others.
The event will have football drills featuring Ogletree, Northridge High School coaches and varsity players. These will begin at 10 a.m. and pre-registration is recommended by walk-ups are welcome.Â
