Yesterday, after PSG qualified for their second consecutive Champions League final, celebrations took place in various neighborhoods of Paris, especially around the Champs-Elysées and near the Parc des Princes. Some disturbances occurred with the use of fireworks and smoke bombs, but no major incidents were reported. A few individuals tried to access a ramp to the highway but were quickly pushed back by the police.

The operation led to the arrest of six people for using fireworks and participating in a group with the intent to commit offenses, according to BFMTV. Unfortunately, two people were injured by fireworks, one seriously, according to the latest report from the Paris police prefecture at 12:30 a.m.

The situation gradually calmed down around 2:30 a.m., despite some new clashes, particularly around the Champs de Mars. The police prefecture is expected to release a statement on Thursday morning.
