On June 20 and 21, the forest, music and conviviality take over Orgeix and Orlu for a weekend escape to the heart of summer. Between suspended shows, nature discoveries and melodies under the stars, the atmosphere promises to be warm.
Saturday June 20: green immersion at Nuits des forêts d’Orgeix
From 2 p.m., meet by the river for the 3rd edition of a unique festival surrounded by nature. The program? A nice cocktail of activities for young and old. The public will be able to admire the aerial ballet of the highline demonstrations, while the curious will try out slacklining on the ground. Between the artisan market, the wooden games, the photo exhibition and the refreshment bar, the afternoon promises to be radiant.
Furthermore, young audiences will be amazed by kamishibaïs tales (3 p.m. and 5 p.m.) and the poetic show “La Sensitive” (2:30 p.m.), in partnership with Ax Animation. Want to pamper biodiversity? Don’t miss the nest box making workshop (3:30 p.m.) or the perched walk with Robin (5 p.m.). After an engaging conference with Extinction Rebellion at 6:30 p.m., it’s time for fun: the Ty Stouf & Bee Alive food trucks will delight the taste buds at 7 p.m., just before the captivating “Orcival duo” concert at 9 p.m.
Sunday June 21: Orlu celebrates summer with music
The next day, the journey along the water continues at the Relais montagnard d’Orlu from 6:30 p.m. To celebrate the solstice, the atmosphere will be soft and festive with a jazz aperitif by “Luna Swing”, followed by a friendly Jam’Trad with the École de Musique des Vallées of Ax.
Also on the program: the traditional Midsummer bonfire to the sound of mountain songs, followed by a “surprise” end of the evening to prolong the magic of the night. Table side, a delicious paëlla (13€ adult / 10€ child) awaits you.
