Culture[S] Pop’S #3 in Mont-de-Marsan, June 21

“Contemporary popular cultures” will meet at the Halles de la Madeleine on June 21 for the third Culture edition[S] Pop’S. The event organized by the Mont-de-Marsan Agglomeration tourist, trade and crafts office will combine the geek world (video game areas, board games), introductions to skateboarding or boxing therapy, and artistic practices (drawing, creation of stickers).

Among the highlights, the Super Smash Bros Ultimate regional tournament – ​​one of the benchmark competitive fighting video games – will bring together up to 32 players for a confrontation broadcast live. On the dance side, competitors will be able to try to beat the teacher’s score in the Ultimate Just Dance Battle challenge, by reproducing choreographies displayed on the screen. A cosplay space dedicated to fans of costumes and fantasy worlds will allow them to prepare for the competition for the best fictional character disguise, before the festive parade which will kick off the Music Festival. As for the “Pop Comptoir”, it will bring together local professionals offering tattoos, piercings and temporary makeup, dental rhinestones and activities dedicated to families.
