Created on December 5, 2025 in memory of our son Lorenzo Renou, a young hope in French basketball who tragically disappeared after returning from a match in May 2025, the association’s mission is simple, concrete and essential: Support clubs and athletes in organizing safer, more comfortable travel and, above all, help them finance them. The cause is national and multi-sport.

Our goal:

• Raise awareness of safety and prevention issues related to sports trips.
• Support clubs in planning and financing their trips.
• Propose tools, partnerships and concrete actions that improve the daily lives of licensed athletes.
• The advantages for clubs and licensees:
• Access to practical and economical solutions for travel.
• Provision of educational and prevention tools.
• Participation in a national movement which promotes amateur sport and protects its athletes.

In this dynamic, we are organizing the LR9BYLORENZO Festival on September 4, 5 and 6, 2026, a sporting, cultural and solidarity event intended for clubs, families and all those involved in sport, art, culture and prevention.

FESTIVAL LR9- ART SPORT CULTURE ET PREVENTION
All profits generated will be used for the benefit of the clubs as part of the actions and ultimate objective of the LR9BYLORENZO association: To support and help sports association clubs and all licensed athletes to organize and finance their travel in SAFETY.

• 7 p.m. NF2 opening match,

• Challenge LR9,
• Renowned ambassadors.

SATURDAY 5 AND SUNDAY 6 SEPTEMBER 2026

Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• U18 ELITE (F/G) tournaments, BETCLIC ESPOIRS;
• Tournoi NBA2K2026 mobile;
• Concerts;
• Artistic shows;
• Graffiti artists; Entertainment;
• Prevention Area (Road Safety/Doping and narcotics);
• Sport Performance Space (workshops to raise awareness of the physical and mental well-being of athletes).

SATURDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 5 at the Palais des Sports in Bordeaux

• 18h : Match NM1
• Musical entertainment/DJ
• 9 p.m. BETCLIC match (2 teams from the French BETCLIC ELITE championship).
