On the occasion of the festival of Catalan and Occitan languages and cultures, certified by Total Festum, the Calendreta del pais tolosan, linked to the local association Caminoc, is hosting several meetings to discover Occitan culture. Like every year, the highlight “Festij’Oc” took the form of a festive day with workshops, shows and games… on June 6 in Cintegabelle. In 2026, in order to promote Occitan culture and language beyond Cintegabelle, the Occitan school and its association are taking the partnership further by setting up at the Auterive media library, with the artist Cecila Chapduelh, for an exhibition, a screen printing workshop and an Occitan nap. The exhibition of Occitan poetry in screen printing is visible until June 24; on Saturday June 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. the public will explore the principles of artisanal screen printing by varying the supports: stickers, recycled T-shirts, recycled posters, postcards, with original creations in the Occitan language. From 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., the public will be able to enjoy suspended time: a nap to the sounds of Occitan poems.
